Central Road, Blackburn Lake Sanctuary

The City of Whitehorse engaged us to design a new frontage and address to Blackburn Lake Sanctuary and the Regis Aged Care Facility in Blackburn. The Central Road frontage to the reserve was a significant area of informal gravel parking with a bus stop with no landscape qualities. The upgrade to the area included the creation of new bus stop, regrading and resurfacing of the car parking areas with porous materials, new garden beds and the provision for informal pedestrian movement along the front of new car park bays.
