This new meeting place was a design collaboration with the staff of Bubup Wilam Aboriginal Child and Family Centre and the City of Whittlesea. The meeting place was created in an unused area outside the entrance to the centre building located in Thomastown and against an existing car park.

The design required for a communal space to be created that was suitable for gatherings or quiet reflection and incorporates the use of sound speakers hidden in the landscape to allow for native animal noises and sounds. It has become an important focus of the centre’s community.
