The “Atira” development is a student apartment tower in North Melbourne that was completed in 2018, including ground floor external spaces and small courtyards as well as external terraces on upper levels including the roof. Using predominantly succulents, the roof garden is a striking external space and garden with views across Melbourne’s adjacent cityscape.

The development retained the facade of the former hotel that occupied the site while also creating a new external upper level space on the roof of the former building.
